☼ Omei - ...A Single Sickened Cell / Black Eyed Angels

Omei is the dark ambient, death industrial side project by Chris Goudreau of Sickness. He started in the early days of 1986-1987 with a tape-loop/industrial project, eventually (d)evolving into the apocalyptic infestation that is Sickness. The ethics of his Omei project harkens back to those early years, but with a much stronger tonal presentation. Each track attempts to concentrate on one thought and extend it through to its conclusion. It's a hard look at his obsessive/compulsive thought process. Sickness can be thought of as a thousand thoughts in 10 seconds, where Omei is the same thought but for 10 hours.
